How We Make Money

The honest answer: right now, we don't. Compare Block Managers is currently free for everyone — leaseholders pay nothing to use it, and companies pay nothing to be listed, ranked or matched.

What that means in practice

• Rankings are never paid. Every list on this site is ordered by objective, disclosed criteria — accreditation, independent ratings, review volume and specialism. No company can pay to appear, to rank higher, or to hide.
• The "Find a manager" service is free on both sides. When you tell us about your block at /get-quotes/, we identify accredited managers covering your area and put you in touch. Neither you nor the companies pay for this. No referral fees change hands.
• No affiliate links. Links to companies' own websites, Companies House, ombudsman registers and review platforms carry no tracking or commission.
• Badges reflect accreditation, not payment. Badges such as "TPO + TPI" mean a company is registered with The Property Ombudsman and a member of The Property Institute — public facts from their registers, not something a company can buy from us.

Why run a free site?

We built Compare Block Managers because the information leaseholders need is scattered across ombudsman registers, Companies House and review platforms, and nobody had pulled it together independently. We may introduce revenue in future — for example, optional paid features for companies that never affect rankings.

Our commitment

If our funding model ever changes, this page changes first, and any commercial relationship will be disclosed at the point you encounter it — on the page, not buried in terms. What will not change: rankings and comparisons stay independent and cannot be bought.
